You are cordially invited to join us for the 2026 Twin Oaks Invitational, a prestigious event celebrating camaraderie and competition, set amidst the beautiful Texas scenery at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort.

This three-day event promises an unforgettable experience of luxury, leisure, and friendly competition. Whether you're here for the sport or the drinking, the Twin Oaks Invitational will provide the perfect setting to chill with the bros. The Texas heat will be the great equalizer.

Please RSVP via group text to Garrett Butler and Bryan Champion by December 15th, 2025. Commitment to attend will only be confirmed once a non-refundable $500 deposit has been received by Garrett Butler by January 15th, 2026.

The commissioners ask that you please do not discuss the event with anyone without first confirming they have been invited.

Music, cold beers, and trash talk encouraged. If horse race is unavailable, normal play on the short course.
Saturday, July 18 — Round 1: Team Fourball / Best Ball
TBD Two-man teams vs. two-man teams — Best Ball Match Play Net Scoring
Each player plays their own ball. Lowest net score per team counts. Conceding holes and putts is allowed to maintain pace and good attitudes.
Sunday, July 19 — Round 2: Singles Matches
TBD Head-to-head 1v1 matches — pairings set by captains Match Play
Conceding holes and putts is allowed. Each match decides 1 team point.

Format & Rules

Overall Format — Ryder Cup

20 players. 2 teams of 10. 2 captains draft their teams and set all matchups. 20 total points available across both rounds — 10 per round.

Saturday — Fourball / Best Ball Match Play

Two-man teams compete against opposing two-man teams. Each player plays their own ball; lowest net score on the hole counts for the team. Match play scoring. Conceding holes and putts is permitted.

Sunday — Singles Match Play

Head-to-head, one-on-one matches. Captain sets all pairings. Match play scoring. Conceding holes and putts permitted to maintain pace of play and morale.

Friday — Horse Race (Bonus)

10-hole short course, lit for night play. Music, cold beers, and maximum trash talk. If the horse race format isn't available, normal play on the short course.

General Rules of Play

  • USGA Rules of Golf apply unless modified by local or tournament rules.
  • 2 playing captains will be selected. Captains draft their teams and set all matchups for each round.
  • Net scoring applies — handicap indexes must be submitted to the commissioners prior to the first tee shot.
  • Full point awarded for winning a match; half point to each side for a halved match.
  • Conceding holes and putts is permitted to maintain pace of play and good attitudes throughout.
  • Pace of play is a priority. Ready golf encouraged. Do not be that guy.
  • Lost ball: stroke and distance. Provisional balls are encouraged to keep things moving.
  • OB and hazard rules as marked on the course. Local rules take precedence.
  • Disputes are settled by the commissioners. Their decisions are final and absolute.
  • The spirit of competition, camaraderie, and brotherly trash talk shall be upheld at all times.
